Tyler James Anderson

Tyler James Anderson, age 16 of Belle Fourche, died Friday March 25, 2011 at his home. The funeral service will be held 11am Friday April 1, 2011 at St. James Lutheran Church in Belle Fourche, with Rev. Jeff Otterman officiating. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 pm Thursday at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Interment will be held in Pine Slope Cemetery, in Belle Fourche. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Tyler James Anderson was born July 28, 1994 in Spearfish. He was the son of Chad Anderson and Margaret Aaker. In 1995, Tyler moved with his family to Belle Fourche where he attended school. In 2009, Chad and Tyler moved to Iroquois SD where Tyler attended school his sophomore year. They returned to Belle Fourche this past February, where Tyler was a member of the Junior High School Class. Tyler will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and all the memories he made hunting and fishing with his dad and uncles. He was a great son and brother and many memories were made, and now will be cherished. Tyler is survived by his father and step-mother, Chad Anderson and Angie Burckhard of Belle Fourche; his mother, Margaret (Matthew) Kuchel of Sheridan WY; brother, Theran Anderson of Belle Fourche; sister, Monica Reder of Rapid City; paternal grandparents, David and Valera Anderson of Carthage SD; maternal grandmother, Leona Aaker of Bison; 3 uncles, Todd (Tresha) Anderson of Piedmont, Cort Anderson of Madison SD, Ernie Kari of Bison; 3 aunts, Renae (Mike) Jenkins of Spearfish, Robin (Curt) Olson of St. Onge, and Crystal Porterfield of Belle Fourche. He is also survived by his step-grandmother, Karen Burckhard of Belle Fourche; step-aunt, Heidi (Brendan) Matthew of Sturgis; and step-uncles, Paul Burckhard of Lame Deer MT, and Pete Burckhard of Rapid City; and numerous cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gary Aaker; aunt, Lisa Kari; cousin, Aspen; great grandparents; and step-grandfather, Frank Burckhard.
