** Click on the link above to view video tribute ** Jennifer M. Newsome, age 28 of Belle Fourche, died Saturday September 17th, 2011 at the Anshutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. The funeral service will be held 4pm Friday September 23rd, 2011 at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Jennifer Marie Popham was born July 27, 1983 in Belle Fourche. She was the daughter of Kent and Pam (Slutz) Popham. Jennifer grew up and attended school in Belle Fourche, and was a graduate with the Class of 2002. Jennifer was married in 2006 to Leo Newsome. Jennifer worked at various places, including Bob’s Café, Jumpin’ Jacks, Burger King, and First Gold. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Leo Newsome and their 2 sons, Trystin and Storm of Belle Fourche; her parents, Kent and Pam Popham of Belle Fourche; grandmothers, Ethel Slutz of Belle Fourche, Karen Popham of Sturgis; 3 uncles, Phil Slutz of Belle Fourche, Dan (Mellissa) Slutz of Belle Fourche, Tim Slutz of Colorado; 4 aunts, Becky and Thu Slutz of Belle Fourche, Kara (Tom) Ginn of Wright WY, Peggy (Doug) Brownfield of Sturgis; 13 cousins; and her very special cousins, Beth Slutz and Breezy Aimenetto; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ray Popham; maternal grandfather, James Slutz; and her uncle, Jimmy Slutz.
