Robert H. Noziska

Robert H. Noziska, age 60 of Spearfish, died Friday March 9th, 2012 at his home. The funeral service will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, March 14th, 2012 at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche.  Pastor Doug Clark will officiate.  Visitation will be held 3 to 7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.  Interment will be held in Pine Slope Cemetery, in Belle Fourche. Memorials are preferred to the Suncatcher Therapeutic Riding Academy. Robert Henry Noziska was born June 4, 1951 in Belle Fourche.  He was the son of Henry and Luverne (Schmele) Noziska.  Robert grew up in Belle Fourche and also on the family ranch located north of Nisland.  Bob was born with a disability that required him to receive help in life.  He received most of that help from his parents and brothers.  Many memories were made working around the ranch and fencing with his father.  Later in life, Bob attended the Black Hills Workshop in Rapid City, and since May of 1976 he has lived and worked at the Northern Hills Training Center in Spearfish.  Bob enjoyed living there, and the work that was provided him.  He never wanted to miss a day of going to work.  Bob also loved to ride horseback at the Suncatchers Therapeutic Riding Academy in the summer months.  He was a natural rider.  Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Robert is survived by his brothers, Bill (Lisa) Noziska of Newell, Howard (Mary Ann) Noziska of Chaska MN; 4 nieces, Darcie (Chad) Dennard of Sturgis, Heather Noziska (Ryan Tullis) of Sturgis, Kathy (Jim) McGillivary of Michigan, and Kris (Dan) Westin of Minneapolis MN.
