Funeral arrangements are with Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Frank Howery Ridinger was born January 1st, 1924 on the family ranch in northeast Crook County, Wyoming. It is at this same ranch where, 89 years, 9 months, and 11 days later, Frank would go home to be with his Lord. Frank was the son of Frank and Lula (Howery) Ridinger. He grew up on the family ranch in Crook County, also where he attended the Antelope Gulch country school. Frank was introduced to Helen Marie Roberts in Hulett, Wyoming. Soon after, they were married in Gillette, WY on June 24th, 1948. Together they enjoyed 65 years of marriage. Frank was a lifetime rancher of northeast Crook County, Wyoming. Throughout his life, Frank was a man who worked hard. Sundays were the Lord’s day that started out with church and often followed with church picnics and an evening service back at church. Frank loved music and he learned how to play guitar and fiddle. Often he would carry a toothpick in his mouth. In his younger years, Saturday night meant popcorn, apple cider, and an episode of Gunsmoke on television with the family. Frank will be greatly missed by his family. Frank is survived by his wife, Helen of Alzada MT; children, Jim (Christie) of Gillette WY, Kathy Bressie of Overland Park KS, George (Marlene) of Alzada MT, Penny (John) McPherson of Overland Park KS, Terry (Mark) Huseby of Hulett WY, Johnie (Julie) of Alzada MT, Gail Ridinger of Hulett WY; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his brother, Chuck (Jan) of Lewiston, ID; and several nieces and nephews.
