Lyla M. Peterson, age 83 of Spearfish, died Sunday June 15, 2014 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital. Private family services will be held this week. Funeral arrangements are with Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Lyla is survived by her sons, Bruce (Callie) Peterson of Belle Fourche, Greg and Ernest Franks of Las Vegas NV; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands; and daughter, Sandra.
