Bradley Jay Hopper age 50 of Belle Fourche, died Friday March 6, 2009 at his home in Belle Fourche. The funeral service will be held 2pm Friday March 13, 2009 at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche, with Rev. Paul Howard officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7pm Thursday and one hour prior to the service at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills.  Interment will be held in Pine Slope Cemetery, Belle Fourche. Bradley Jay Hopper was born November 9, 1958 in Pico Rievera, California.  He was the son of Samuel and Rose Marie (Hicks) Hopper.  Brad grew up in the Los Angeles CA area and was a 1977 graduate of Shurr Senior High School in San Gabriel, CA.  Following his graduation Brad worked for Mammoth Trucking in Los Angeles for 10 years.  He later moved to Redding CA and drove truck all over the nation.  In 1990 he began trucking for Flying H Express, the business owned by his future wife and her family.  On August 8, 2000 Brad was united in marriage to Kimberly Shipley in Reno, Nevada.  Following their marriage they lived in Tracy CA.  In April of 2008, Brad and Kim moved to Belle Fourche where Brad has since been driving truck for Trimac Trucking of Rapid City. Brad will be remembered for many things that are fun.  He had a great sense of humor and it showed in many ways.  Whether it was his “scientific experiments”, or teasing and joking with his kids and friends, Brad enjoyed life.  Family was important to Brad.  He worked very hard so his wife could invest her time at home with the kids.  Brad was a devoted husband and father and he will be missed so much. Bradley is survived by his wife, Kimberly of Belle Fourche; daughter, Laura Hopper of Belle Fourche; step-daughter, Rheona Mahan of Belle Fourche; step-sons, Ryan O’Neal of Phoenix AZ, Don (Ashlee) O’Neal of Phoenix AZ; and brothers, Jerry Hopper of Redding CA, Randy (Toni) Hopper of Martinez CA, Brian (Brandy) Hopper of Redding CA; and he is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Will and Gladys Heinrich of Belle Fourche.
