Stefon “Steve Viser” Crawford age 53 of Belle Fourche, died Wednesday March 25, 2009 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held 10am Wednesday April 1st, 2009 at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. There will be no visitation. Stefon Sidney Crawford was born April 11, 1955 in Los Angeles, California. He was the son of Charles and Audrey (Viser) Crawford. In 1981 he was married to Janice Stord in Los Angeles CA. In 1983 their daughter, Reva was born. Steve and Janice later divorced. Steve enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and camping with his long time companion of seven years, Betty. He had been a resident of Belle Fourche for the past 7 ½ years. Stefon is survived by his brothers, Charles of Los Angeles CA, Anthony of California; his mother, Audrey of Washington State; and his long term companion, Betty Hayworth of Belle Fourche. He was preceded in death by his father; one sister Kim; and one brother Wayne.
