Harvey L. Leopold

Harvey Leopold, age 86 of Belle Fourche, died Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 at his home in Belle Fourche. Graveside services will be conducted 10:30 am Friday, February 12th, 2016 at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche. There will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are with Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Harvey Louis Leopold was born May 5, 1929 in Lamberton, Minnesota. He was the last survivor of 12 children. He was the son of Harvey John and Eleanore (Radue) Leopold. Harvey served in the U.S. Army for 2 years, and was honorably discharged in 1953. Harvey is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret I. Leopold of Belle Fourche; Nephews, Douglas (VaLynn) Mednansky of Belle Fourche, Warren (Cathy) Leopold Jr. of Rapid City; nieces, Lori (Peter) Tokley of Belle Fourche, Evalynn (Galen) Stafford of Newcastle, Eleanore Jean Rissler of Riverton WY; sister-in-law, Marian Statton of Roseburg OR; brother-in-law, David Leman of Salem OR.
