DeAnne Miles

DeAnne Miles, age 67 of Belle Fourche, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025, with her two loving sisters by her side.

DeAnne’s life will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, June 19th, 2025 at Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Inurnment will take place at Hope Cemetery in Newell. Friends may leave written condolences online at: www.LeveringtonFH.com

DeAnne Miles was born April 11, 1958 in Belle Fourche. She was the daughter of Robert and Sharon (Schipke) Miles. DeAnne grew up in Newell, where she graduated from high school in 1976. DeAnne lived in Nevada for several years, where she worked as an office manager for a mining company. In 2014 she moved to Belle Fourche, and worked as a scale operator for Mike Watson and then for Halliburton Inc. In October, 2024 she retired.

DeAnne liked arranging flowers and antiquing, and for a time she worked at some of the local shops in Belle Fourche. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and working in her yard, and she loved her dogs. DeAnne had no fear when it came to challenges in life, because of her faith. DeAnne loved the Lord, and she found peace and joy following Him.

DeAnne is survived by her two sons, Nathan (Mackenzie) Odle of Carlin NV, Robert (Samantha) Odle of Battle Mountain NV; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Karlyn (Dustin) McCarty and their son Grant of Fort Riley KS, Krisyn (Ryan) Tinsley and their daughter Saylor of Mechanicburg PA; mother, Sharon Miles of Belle Fourche; sisters, Lori Casavan of Belle Fourche, and Mitzi Miles of Rapid City; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Robert Miles; and sister, Shari Jo Miles.
