Greg Boyd, age 72 of Belle Fourche, died Saturday, August 22, 2026 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Greg Alan Boyd was born August 13, 1954 in Mitchell, South Dakota. He was the son of Donald and Eunice (Ladner) Boyd. Greg grew up on a family farm near Plankinton. He was united in marriage to Debbie Hausman in Hot Springs and together they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. For several years Greg was the Director of Buildings and Grounds for the Belle Fourche school district. He also ranched for many years.

Greg is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Robby (Carrie), Melanie (Eric) Swanson, Don (Kari), LeAnne (Matt), David (Jennifer); 9 grandchildren, Anthony, Mickeala (David), Luke, Allison, Karissa, Rachel, Sierra, Levi, Jillian; brother, Charles Boyd; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by very special friends of the family, Wes (Carrie) Wood and daughter Elise; Cathie Wood, and BJ Allen and his daughter, Danika.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Gladys; and his mother, Eunice.
