Joseph Hanson, age 24 of Nisland, died Wednesday, May 7, 2025 as a result of a tragic automobile accident.

Joseph is survived by his parents, Michael and Michelle Hanson of Nisland; sister, Millie Hanson of Spearfish; brother, Darin Hanson of Nisland; paternal grandfather, Jim Hanson of Sturgis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Beverly Gifford; paternal grandmother, Jan Hanson; and his uncle, Stuart Wetz.
