** Video Tribute Can Be Viewed Below ** Laura Pedersen-Edsall, age 91 of Belle Fourche, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Edgewood Vista in Spearfish. The funeral service will be held 10 am Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Belle Fourche.  Visitation will be held 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, with a family prayer service at 6:30 pm at Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche.  Interment will take place in Pine Slope Cemetery, in Belle Fouche. A memorial has been established for Children’s Ministries at the United Methodist Church. Laura Mary Rundle was born April 25, 1927 in Lead, South Dakota.  She was the daughter of Thomas and Gwendolyn (Wasley) Rundle.  Laura grew up in Lead and was a graduate of the Lead High School.  After high school, Laura was recruited to work at the Pentagon in Washington D.C.  It was there where she was united in marriage to Edward Pedersen on February 5, 1949.  To this union three children were born: sons, Corey and Chris, and daughter, Peri.  Following their marriage, Laura and Edward lived in Brooklyn and Queens New York.  Eddie died in 1972 and a short time later, in 1975, Laura moved to Belle Fourche where she worked as a legal secretary for the William Anderson Law Office.  On October 17, 1976 she was united in marriage to Arthur Edsall in Belle Fourche.  Following their marriage, they lived in Belle Fourche.  Arthur died in 1992.  Laura was a member of the United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.  Since 1976, she has been a card holder at the Belle Fourche Public Library.  She was an avid reader and her Kindle was used all the time.  She enjoyed her book club and her bowling team very much.  Laura enjoyed traveling and she loved her snowbird trips to Texas every winter with Art.  She was a caring lady who had a positive attitude and wonderful outlook on life.  She loved her family, and she was very proud of her two sons.  She will be missed greatly. Laura is survived by her two sons, Corey (Marianne) Pedersen of Amston CT, Chris (Catherine) Pedersen of Midland Park NJ; step-children, Ray Edsall and family of Hulett, WY, Connie Seeley and family of Hulett, WY; 2 grandchildren, Nicole and Christopher; great granddaughter, Ava Catherine Goetz; sister, Dorothy Olson of Spearfish; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Edward Pedersen and Arthur Edsall; daughter, Peri Ibison; and 4 brothers.
