Marvin Warrick, age 51 of Belle Fourche, died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at his home as a result of several health issues he was fighting.
His life will be celebrated 10am Friday, November 8, 2019 at Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Pierre.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Marvin Lee Warrick was born February 20, 1968 in Pierre. He was the son of Edward and Louise (Helm) Warrick. Marvin grew up in Pierre and graduated from the Fort Pierre High School. Marvin worked as a Schwan’s Foods Deliveryman in Murdo and he also worked at the A & W Restaurant. During his years managing the A&W, he met Carla who worked for him there. Marvin and Carla were married in 1999 in Pierre.
For three years, Marvin served his county in the National Guard. In 2004 he moved to Belle Fourche where he worked for area businesses, including the Rodeway Inn in Spearfish. He was a kind-hearted man, caring, and always put other people first. He loved his children and grandchildren very much, and spent much time taking care of them over the past several years. Marvin enjoyed motocross sports and was a member of the SDMA. He was also a big fan of Nascar (Dale Earnhardt) and the Denver Broncos. Marvin was a loving man to his family and he will be greatly missed.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Carla of Belle Fourche; son, Colton of Belle Fourche; daughters, Destiny Warrick of Belle Fourche and Kylee Warrick of Sioux Falls; and 14 grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sons from a previous marriage: Dustin and Dillon of Pierre. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Louise Warrick; and daughter, Chelsie.
