Michele Kreuzer, age 65 of Belle Fourche, died Sunday, April 5, 2026 at the Monument Health Spearfish Hospital, following a sudden cardiac event.

The funeral service will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Visitation will take place 5 to 7pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Pine Slope Cemetery. Born September 28th, 1960 in Troy, NY. She attended Siena College, and later received a Master of Library Sciences from SUNY Albany. Michele loved to laugh, she had a smile that lit up a room and a sense of humor that captivated and enamored those she met. Michele lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by her children Heather, Amber, Erin, and Harley; her son in law Nick, grandchildren Auden and Gracie, as well as her partner Ben. When she wasn’t cooking or making all of her children their favorite food, she spent her days working in the garden, loving her multitude of pets and leaving fairy dust in her wake. At her heart, Michele was a painter, librarian, caregiver, mother, and friend to many.

Michele is survived by her daughters, Heather (Wife, Benn) Ranken of MA, Erin (Fiance, Sheamus) Ranken of NY, Amber (Husband, Nick) Biegert of Belle Fourche; her son, Harley Rivera of CA; her 2 grandchildren, Auden and Gracie; her brother, Keith Kreuzer of NY; and her partner, Ben Hilton of Belle Fourche.
