Shirley Mae Morrow

Shirley Morrow, age 86 of Belle Fourche, died Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Judy’s Assisted Living Center in Belle Fourche.

Shirley will be laid to rest beside her husband, in Mount Clark Cemetery, in Central City, Iowa.  Arrangements are with Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche.

Shirley Mae Hunt was born March 2, 1935 in Ottumwa, Iowa.  She was the daughter of Harve and Rosetta (Demmit) Hunt.  Shirley was united in marriage to Freddie Morrow in 1953.  For the past several years, after Freddie’s death, Shirley has lived in Belle Fourche to be close to her daughter.

Shirley is survived by her son, Vernon Morrow of Shellsburg IA; 5 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Martha Santee of Perry IA, Violet Colgrove of Visalia CA; son-in-law, Arthur Jones of Belle Fourche.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LaVern Freddie Morrow; daughters, Nadine Jones, Roxanne Arnold; sisters, Esther Clark, Dorothy Johnson; and brothers, Charles, Archie, Paul, and Harold Hunt.
